Boards and Commissions

Currently accepting applications through May 30, 2025 for the following Empowered Boards: Airport, Docks & Harbors, and Eaglecrest. Interviews/appointments to these boards will be held in Mid-June via Zoom. Individuals who submit an application for an Empowered Board will get emailed additional pre-interview questions. Only those applicants who return the pre-interview questions will get scheduled for a 10-minute interview with the Full Assembly sitting as the Assembly Human Resources Committee. Historic Resources Advisory Committee (1 upcoming)

Juneau Commission on Sustainability (3 upcoming)

Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (3 upcoming/1 vacancy)

Systemic Racism Review Committee (2 upcoming/1 vacancy)

Individuals interested in serving on an Advisory Board should fill out the online application. Applications are held for one year and reviewed by the Assembly Human Resources Committee as each Advisory Boards seats come due for review and appointment.
